Concert set in memory of Davidson
Jam for Joe Don, a benefit staged for musician Joe Don Davidson by family members, friends and fans, will take place from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Texas Cafe & Bar, 3604 50th St.

Lubbock musician Davidson died April 1; funds raised will be donated to a college fund for his children.
Paul Bullock will recite his poetry between sets. Admission will be free, but donations will be accepted.

More: Lesley Sawyer and Ingrid Kaiter are expected to sit in and sing.
Davidson's children are: Jayson Joe Davidson, 16, Monterey High School student; Danielle Don Davidson, 14, Evans Junior High School student; and Savannah Renee Davidson, 12, student at Lubbock School for Young Women Leaders.
